DNR Sunfish Limit Proposal Meeting

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources will present the proposed sunfish limit and answer your questions and solicit your feedback on the effect the new law may have on Sullivan Lake and surrounding community.
Minnesota DNR proposal for a 10 sunfish bag limit regulation on six area lakes
After review of angler attitudes and preferences, six lakes are proposed for changes to statewide sunfish bag limits. The daily bag limit would be reduced to 10 from the statewide limit of 20. The regulations are up for public comment throughout the summer and signs have been posted at each of the public access areas. The lakes proposed are Long(Higgins), Moose and Maple lakes in Todd County, Green Prairie-Fish and Sullivan Lakes in Morrison County and Platte Lake in Morrison/Crow Wing counties.
